We want Christmas at the Muncie Mission to be a special time for the men living here. After all, this isn’t a commercial holiday, this is the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ!

On Christmas Eve, our residents will celebrate Christ’s birth with a special party. Each man will receive personal gifts purchased for him by caring people in the community. The evening ends with a wonderful meal and delicious holiday desserts.

The personal gifts come from those who sign up to be Wish List Sponsors. Each resident fills out a “Christmas Wish List” naming three gifts he would like to have for Christmas. Each gift is around $20. Then special individuals, families, churches or organizations sponsor one or more of the residents through the Wish List program. Each sponsor makes a commitment to buy the gifts on the list. Then they wrap the gifts, complete with ribbons and bows, and deliver them to the Mission.
